Hi my name is Melina, and I have finished my first week of Middle School. I am from Germany and Greece and have two sisters. I really like Midlle School. It is a lot of fun. My favorite colour is green because that is the colour of the earth and because it is such a rich colour.

The last three books I have read are "Hanni und Nannni," which is a German book by: Enid Blyton. It is about two twin sisters being sent off to boarding school and the problems they have to face in that enviroment . Then, I read an English book called "Life On The Refrigerator Door", written by:Alice Kuipers, which is about a mum and her daughter communicating on the refrigerator door. Last but not least I read a book called "Dizzy" written by:Cathey Cassidy. It is about a girl called Dizzy who's mum left when she was young and every year she got a postcard or found a package in front of her door sent by her mum. However one year she finds her mum in front of her door.
               The last movie I saw was called "Letters To Juliet". I watched it in Greece and it was a very cute movie. The cinema I watched it in had no roof!! The movie is about a girl called Sophie Hall who goes to Verona, Italy with her fiancee. She was doing some sightseeing when she came past a wall where people would write letters to Juliet about there relationships.She then joins a little group called Juliets secretaries and they write back to the letters the women put on the wall. One day Sophie finds a letter from an old women that was written 50 years ago, and she helps find the women her love of her life.

My academic goal this year is to keep my grades high and produce strong work so I can be proud of myself and my family too.

My social goal this year is to keep up my old friendships and start new ones. I also want to be of help for the new students.I have met some really nice new people so i would like to start hanging out with them but also have sleepovers with my old friends from Elementary school.

My favorite vacation memory is probably going to New Zealand over the last winter holidays. My family and I went to the South Island and had the time of our lives. We did the craziest things for example going on a jet boat and swimming with dolphins. The landscape was beautiful as well.

I would describe myself as nice, flexible, ambitious, sporty and funny. Some sports I play are soccer,baseball,basketball and swimming.
